Local projects and Updates

Did you see our amazing Scarecrow as part of the Local Scarecrow trail for H
alloween this year. It was amazing and won 2nd prize in the most favorite scarecrow category.
It was created by the creators at Binary Glitz and Bradley Stoke Eco Shop.
We successfully held our first ever AGM at the start of Nov. See past events and what we have been doing here.
See us in the Bradley Stoke Matters online magazine here :). Includes a guide to thinking about Christmas gifts more ethically.

Now we are trying to find ways to help the community to better understand how to reduce our carbon footprint over the Christmas period. One of the most carbon intensive times of year.
“Our total consumption and spending on food, travel, lighting and gifts over three days of festivities could result in as much as 650 kg of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) per person – equivalent to the weight of 1,000 Christmas puddings! This is 5.5% of our total annual carbon footprint.”
